July 30 work day

We worked out at East End for over 3 hours this afternoon We had 15 volunteers, 12 of whom were soldiers from Fort A. P. Hill. The other two were a VCU student and a local person. They got a big area cleared along the road to Evergreen and several gravestone were uncovered. They also uprighted an ornate gravestone that was found a couple of months ago.
