June 13th work day

We worked out at East End for about 4 hours this morning. We had 3 volunteers from Hands on Richmond and 6 of our regulars. Ins spite of the head and humidity, we cleared plots and found several markers, we mowed and we whacked weeds. We also had 2 visitors. Mary Lamb Shelden came by with a very generous donation of tools from a VCU Service Learning Partnership grant and we had a family member of of a family buried at East End come by with cold water and snacks for us volunteers.

Here are all the new tools loaded in to my truck.
